Business Website Development Services
A business website has one job: turn a visitor who is already interested into an enquiry. We build responsive, fast, SEO-ready sites and landing pages where the next step is always obvious — call, WhatsApp, enquire or book.
Built to be handed over: your domain, your hosting account, your content, your analytics.
Business Website Design
Most business websites fail in a small number of predictable ways. The visitor cannot tell within a few seconds what the business does or whether it serves their area. The phone number is buried. The photographs are stock images that clearly are not the premises. The page takes eight seconds to load on mobile data and half the visitors never see it at all.
We design against those specific failures:
- A clear opening statement. What you do, who for, and where — visible without scrolling.
- Proof close to the claim. Real photographs of real work, genuine reviews, and specifics rather than adjectives.
- An obvious next step on every screen. Call, WhatsApp or a short enquiry form, never hidden behind a "contact us" page.
- Content ordered by what the customer needs to know, in the order they need to know it, rather than by your internal structure.
- A design that carries your brand without slowing the site down or fighting the content for attention.
Design that respects the reader
We keep line lengths readable, font sizes legible on a phone held at arm's length, and contrast high enough to read outdoors. Animation is restrained and respects the operating system's reduced-motion setting.
The site should be usable with a keyboard, with a screen reader, and on a mid-range Android phone on a patchy connection. In India that last one is not an edge case — it is the majority of your visitors.
What a PresenticAI Website Includes
The specifics vary with the project scope, but these are the components we work with.
Responsive Website Development
Layouts tested at phone, tablet and desktop widths — designed mobile-first, because that is where most visits come from.
SEO-Ready Website Structure
Clean URLs, one H1 per page, logical headings, unique titles and descriptions, canonical tags, sitemap and crawlable internal links.
Fast-Loading Practices
Compressed and correctly sized images, modern image formats, lazy loading below the fold, minimal scripts and sensible caching.
Enquiry-Focused Design
Calls to action placed where decisions happen, short forms that ask only for what you need, and no dead ends.
Landing Pages
Purpose-built pages for a specific campaign, offer or service, so paid traffic lands somewhere relevant instead of on the homepage.
WhatsApp, Call & Form Integration
Click-to-call and click-to-WhatsApp with pre-filled context, forms that route to the right inbox, and spam protection.
Analytics & Search Console
Analytics installed, Search Console verified, sitemap submitted and key conversions tracked so you can measure enquiries.
Structured Data
Organization, service, breadcrumb and FAQ schema that matches the visible content — never markup for things not on the page.
Accessibility Basics
Semantic HTML, keyboard-operable navigation, visible focus states, labelled form fields and meaningful alt text.
Enquiry-Focused Websites
A site that looks impressive but produces no enquiries has failed at the only job that matters. These are the decisions that change the enquiry rate.
- Reduce what you ask forEvery extra required field costs you submissions. Name, phone and a one-line message is usually enough to start a conversation. You can ask the rest once they are talking to you.
- Offer the channel they preferIn India many people will not fill a form but will send a WhatsApp message instantly. Offer call, WhatsApp and form together and let the visitor choose.
- Answer the objection on the pagePrice range, service area, lead time, what is included. Pages that answer these honestly get fewer but far better enquiries.
- Make the local relevance obviousA visitor should not have to guess whether you serve their town. Say where you work, plainly.
- Confirm what happens nextA success message that says when someone will respond reduces duplicate enquiries and the anxiety that makes people call a competitor as well.
- Connect enquiries to follow-upA form that lands in an unmonitored inbox is worse than no form. Route it, acknowledge it and track it — see AI automation.
Landing pages for campaigns
If you are running Meta Ads or Google Ads, sending that traffic to your homepage wastes a large share of it. A landing page built for the specific offer, with one message and one action, usually converts several times better.
Landing pages are quick to build and easy to test, and they make it far clearer which campaign is actually producing enquiries.
Fast-Loading Website Practices
Speed is not a technical vanity metric. On mobile data, a slow site loses visitors before they see anything, and it makes every other investment in marketing less efficient — you pay for the click either way.
What we actually do:
- Image discipline. Correctly sized images, modern formats such as WebP with sensible fallbacks, compression that does not visibly degrade quality, and explicit width and height so the layout does not jump while loading.
- Load the right thing first. The main hero image is loaded eagerly; everything below the fold is lazy-loaded.
- Restraint with scripts. Every third-party script has a cost. We add them when there is a reason, not by default.
- Efficient CSS. A shared stylesheet across pages rather than heavy per-page frameworks.
- Sensible hosting and caching. Static assets cached, content served from a CDN where the hosting supports it.
What "fast" realistically means
We aim for a site that becomes useful quickly on a mid-range Android phone on a normal mobile connection, and we test on that basis rather than on a desktop with fibre.
We will not promise a specific score in a testing tool. Scores fluctuate with network conditions and third-party scripts, and a business that adds a chat widget, a tracking pixel and an embedded map after launch will see the number change. What we can commit to is building without the common causes of slowness and telling you when something you have asked for will cost performance.
Our Website Process
Five stages, with a review point at each one so there are no surprises at the end.
Discover and plan
What the site must achieve, who it is for, what pages are needed, and what content and photographs exist. This is also where we agree what is out of scope.
Structure and content
Page structure, URL map, headings and content drafted with your input on the facts only you have — services, areas, prices, lead times.
Design and build
Responsive design applied to the real content, built mobile-first and reviewed at each breakpoint rather than at the end.
Integrate and test
Forms, WhatsApp, call links, analytics, Search Console, schema, redirects from old URLs, and testing across devices and keyboard navigation.
Launch and hand over
Go live, verify indexation and forms in production, then hand over accounts, access and a short guide to updating your own content.
Why Choose PresenticAI for Website Development
- Built for enquiries, not for awardsEvery layout decision is judged against whether it helps a visitor decide and contact you.
- Search considered from the first page planStructure, URLs and metadata are designed at the start, not retrofitted after launch when they are expensive to change.
- You own everythingDomain, hosting account, website files, content and analytics are in your name. There is no lock-in and nothing to negotiate for if you leave.
- Migration handled carefullyRebuilds include a URL map and permanent redirects, so existing search visibility is carried across rather than discarded.
- Honest about scopeWhat is included and what is not is written down before work starts. See the scope section below.
- Connected to the rest of your growthThe site can be joined up with your search work, campaigns and an AI chatbot so enquiries are captured and followed up properly.
Scope Transparency
What is not automatically included
Website projects go wrong most often over assumptions, so here is ours stated plainly. Unless it is written into your project scope, the following are not included in a website build:
- Ongoing hosting management — hosting is purchased in your name; managing, renewing and monitoring it is a separate arrangement.
- Database and file backups, and restoration if something goes wrong.
- Security monitoring, malware scanning, patching and incident response.
- Ongoing maintenance: content updates, plugin or platform updates, and compatibility fixes after launch.
- E-commerce functionality, product catalogues, inventory and order management.
- Payment gateway integration and the compliance work that comes with taking payments.
- Booking, reservation or scheduling systems, and their integration with your operations.
- Third-party subscriptions: domain, hosting, email, premium plugins, stock photography, chat platforms, CRM tools. These are billed to you directly.
- Professional photography or videography, unless quoted as part of the project.
- Content in additional languages, and translation.
All of these can be added — most of them we can deliver. The point is that they are quoted, not assumed. If you want a support and maintenance arrangement after launch, ask for it during scoping and it will be in the proposal with a price against it.
Website development FAQs
How much does a business website cost in India?
The range is wide because "website" covers everything from a five-page brochure site to a system with bookings and payments. The variables that actually drive cost are the number of unique page templates, how much content and photography has to be created rather than supplied, whether integrations such as bookings or payments are needed, and whether an existing site has to be migrated with its URLs preserved.
Separately from the build, you will have recurring costs for domain, hosting and any premium services, billed in your own name. We quote after a scoping conversation and set out clearly what is included, since a cheaper quote usually just has a shorter scope. See our pricing page for how we structure engagements.
How long does it take to build a website?
A focused business website is usually a few weeks from approved plan to launch. A single landing page can be days. Larger sites with many templates, integrations or a content migration take longer.
In practice the schedule is set less by build time than by content: photographs, service details, prices and approvals. Projects that stall almost always stall waiting for material from the business, which is why we agree what is needed and when at the planning stage.
Will my new website rank on Google?
A new website is built SEO-ready, which is not the same as being ranked. Ready means the technical obstacles are removed: crawlable structure, clean URLs, correct headings, unique metadata, valid structured data, fast loading, a sitemap and Search Console connected.
Rankings then depend on content, relevance, competition and reputation over time. A new site in a competitive category will not rank simply because it launched. That is ongoing work — see SEO and GEO services. Any developer who says a rebuild alone will get you to the top is describing something they cannot deliver.
Do I own the website and the domain?
Yes, and we set it up that way from the start rather than transferring it later. The domain is registered in your name, the hosting account is yours, the website files and content are yours, and analytics and Search Console are in your ownership with us added as users.
If you stop working with us, you keep everything and nothing needs to be released. We think agencies holding client domains or hosting hostage is one of the worst habits in this industry.
Can you redesign my existing website without losing my Google rankings?
That is the plan on any rebuild, and it is mostly about discipline rather than cleverness. We map every existing URL, keep the same address wherever a page still exists, and set permanent 301 redirects for anything that moves. Content that is currently earning traffic is preserved or improved rather than quietly dropped.
We also check that the staging site is not indexed, that no accidental noindex survives launch, and that metadata and structured data are carried across. After launch we monitor indexation and Search Console for errors. Handled this way, rebuilds usually improve visibility because speed and structure improve.
Do you provide website maintenance after launch?
It is available, and it is a separate arrangement rather than something included by default. Maintenance typically covers content updates, platform and plugin updates, uptime monitoring, backups and fixing things that break.
We prefer to state this clearly rather than leave it ambiguous, because "the developer will handle it" is the assumption behind most abandoned websites. If you want it, ask during scoping and it will be quoted.
What do you need from me to start?
Practical material rather than a brief. Your business details as they should appear publicly, the list of services and areas you serve, photographs of your actual premises, work and team, any price ranges or packages you are willing to publish, and access to your existing domain, hosting and analytics if they exist.
Where you have gaps we can help — we can direct a shoot list and draft content for your approval. What we cannot do is invent facts about your business, and we will not use stock photography that implies a team, office or client relationship that does not exist.
Will the website work properly on mobile?
Yes, and it is designed mobile-first rather than shrunk down afterwards. We test at common phone, tablet and desktop widths, check that nothing overflows horizontally on a narrow screen, keep tap targets large enough, and make sure the call and WhatsApp actions are reachable without hunting.
We also test on a realistic mobile connection rather than office wifi, because a design that only feels fast on a desktop is not actually finished.
Can you add a chatbot or booking system to my site?
A chatbot, yes — see AI chatbot development. It can answer common questions from your own material and capture enquiry details straight into your follow-up process.
Booking, reservation and payment systems are also possible but they are not part of a standard website scope. They involve third-party platforms, recurring subscription costs and, for payments, compliance considerations. Raise them during scoping so they are quoted properly rather than added as an afterthought.
Do you build in WordPress or custom code?
Whichever suits the project, and we will explain the trade-off rather than default to one. A content management system such as WordPress makes sense when your team needs to publish and edit frequently without a developer; the cost is ongoing updates, plugin management and a larger security surface.
A lightweight custom or static build is faster and needs far less maintenance, and suits sites that change occasionally. What matters more than the platform is that you can get your content out of it and that you are not locked into a proprietary builder you cannot leave.
